  • Romantic Times Booklovers ConventionRomantic Times: Fantabulous fan-focused romance gathering that has become one of my must-attends. The RT Book Lovers Convention is the premier romance convention for authors, readers and industry professionals. They have an astonishing array of writer and reader events that last almost a solid week. Some business gets done and it's a schmooze-palooza, but the real fun and focus is spending time with passionate genre devotees. (n.b. all reports to the contrary, RT and its editorial staff is incredibly LGBT-romance-friendly)

  • Coastal Magic 2015Coastal Magic: Coastal Magic is a super casual, urban fantasy and paranormal romance focused convention in Daytona Beach, FL. With panels designed to start interesting discussion, and meet & greets with fun themes, we’ve got something for every fan. You can expect reader, blogger, and author shenanigans, and lots of “supernatural” inspired activities. Saturday’s charity book sale and signing is open to convention attendees, and FREE to the public.

There were free books, mingling, meeting of authors. and the readers who love them.Rainbow Book Fair: The largest LGBT book event in the U.S. takes place in Manhattan—authors, poets, publishers, university presses, and the entire reading and writing community meet in this diverse spectacular of words, images, and talent. The event fills the New York Gay & Lesbian Center’s dramatic 3rd floor exhibition space and additional rooms with Panels, the Poetry Salon, and Author Readings.   • Yaoi-Con: "A celebration of male beauty and passion in Yaoi and Manga" in San Francisco. YaoiCon is a one-of-a-kind 18+ convention for fans of all things yaoi. Founded in 2001, YaoiCon has been delighting attendees since with unique programming and a fan-centric atmosphere.

  • Gaylaxicon: Gaylaxicon is the annual international Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Convention for Gaylaxicon 2012gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, transgendered people and their friends! In 1988, Gaylaxian Science Fiction Society (Boston) and the national Gaylactic Network sponsored Gaylaxicon, the very first LGBT science fiction convention, in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

  • OutlantaCon: "The southeast's premiere event for queer nerds!" Outlantacon is an Atlanta-based event for the Queer Geek audience! You'll find all the usual convention fare here—discussion panels, gaming, costuming, special events, etcOutlantaCon - the Southeast's premiere event for queer nerds—the difference is that it all has a queer 'bent' to it. Here you can enjoy all the convention trappings in an atmosphere where you're free to be yourself! We also offer some pretty unique twists as well, like our own versions of Match Game (a staple since 2007), Project Cosplay (introduced in 2010) and Nea's Drag Race (a new addition in 2011).

  • Gotham Knights Rugby Football ClubGotham Knights Rugby: The Gotham Knights Rugby Football Club is New York's entry to the growing worldwide ranks of multiethnic and non-discriminatory rugby teams worldwide. Gotham has an open practice policy, no experience is required but practices are intense and skills oriented. New players are encouraged to attend the Rugby Bootcamp at the start of the Spring season. Home games are played on Randall's Island. In addition to its regularly scheduled practices and matches, the Gotham Knights hold notorious "drink-ups" throughout the season which are open to players and fans. People DO judge books by their covers, and the following websites prove that it isn't always a bad idea! These are some folks who deserve much more recognition for the graphic contributions to gay fiction.
