Before Rey Arzeno began to paint the Horn Gate cover seen at left, I assembled hundreds of references to help point him in a direction on Trip and Silas's incubus.

I gave him examples of Scratch's features, body, hair, coloring, lighting, and more. Rey did an amazing job of boiling all of my research to its essence.

The gallery below is a small selection of the swatches used to build Trip and Silas's sex-demon from scratch.

WARNING: Some of these images depict nudity and violence.

Rey even painted a fully nude version of Scratch which hasn't yet seen the light of day... One of these days we'll turn him loose.
